I've discovered Gaga

No, not the Israeli game Gaga that is placed with a ball in an enclosed space, Gaga the dance form. I was lucky to have met my cousin Michelle Brint (thank you cousin Sammy for connecting us) and when I mentioned that I used to be a dancer, she suggested it. We met there and went to the class together. It cost only 65 shekels. It was an amazing experience. It's hard to describe but I'll try. It's a gathering of people who want to move their bodies organically in a dance like way but without strict requirements for what something has to look like. The instructions include increasing or decreasing effort, increasing or decreasing speed, getting low or high, moving across space or staying in a personal space, making soft shapes or circles, shaking or stretching, etc. The music supports the movement and the energy of all of the participants feeds off of one another. I really loved it, and hope I get to do it again at least one more time before we leave Jerusalem. If you're curious and want to know more, here is the website: https://www.gagapeople.com/en/
